I build UX into products from day one

Nearly 7 years in end-to-end product design: researching and producing responsive UIs for desktop, mobile and virtual reality, and joining them into one customer experience, from website and sign-up to the headset.

Research → Design → Release Design systems AI-augmented workflow

How I work

The same loop, every feature
01

Frame

Stakeholder interviews, benchmarking and a problem statement everyone agrees.

02

Research

Interviews, surveys and journey mapping. AI gives a first synthesis, which I check against the sources.

03

Prototype

Wireframes to interactive prototypes, tested in context, including inside the headset.

04

Validate

Usability studies, remote and in person. Findings ranked by severity and fed into the backlog.

05

Hand over & review

Daily work with engineering to release, observe and iterate.

About

I came to UX/UI through twenty years of interactive and motion design: advertising, e-learning and film. I treat visual craft as part of usability, not decoration.

As the sole UX/UI designer at Animotive, I owned every phase of the design of a VR animation tool, adapting each to the team, the budget and target markets. I believe UX belongs at the start and all the way along product development, not at the end of it.
